VPC in Tiger - Warnings?

I have been happily cranking away on Panther OS 10.3.9 for many
moons. Unfortunately I have now been forced into a need for an
application that requires the Java 2 runtime environment that is
not available on Panther (but is in Tiger).

So, I'll be moving to Tiger soon.

I have been running VPC 7.0x (whatever the last one was) on a 20"
bluetooth G5 iMac. Does anyone here have any warnings or other
VPC related useful information that I may need to be aware of
when I make this move to the newer OS? I will likely be running a
fresh install of the OS and then installing all my apps including
VPC from scratch.

OSX 10.4.X VPC works fine. You really should not have any issues that I am
aware of except that your Mac and VPC may run a little faster. So over all
not a bad deal.

VPC & OS X 10.4 (Tiger) Since upgrading to OS X 10.4, Virtual Switch will not start. Until Microsoft fixes this problem, does anyone have a workaround to get online with VPC?

VPC & tiger So should those of us who are in dire need of VPC rush out to buy Tiger when it appears? I'd think that VPC would need another stage of evolution before it would co-exist... Anyone have an idea? Randy Green
