Hello:

I'm trying to get Red Hat Linux 7.0 running in a virtual machine with
VirtualPC 2004. I'm currently using the default kernel, version
2.2.16-22. Everything installed OK but it's currently reporting "hda
lost interrupt" about once every couple of minutes, and I noticed the
disk access stops briefly while it reports this error. This seems to
be specific to the virtual machine's virtual disk. I've seen other
posts with this problem with other versions of Linux in VirtualPC
2004. So far I have not been able to find a fix. I've tried passing
the parameter "acpi=off" in LILO. Does anybody have any
suggestions??? I'm about to try a newer kernel to see if that is the
issue.

I appreciate the help!!! Thank you,
